- Err on the side of being overdressed as opposed to underdressed. A suit never prevented anyone from being hired. However, for safety purposes, be sure to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes/boots when interviewing at the plant.
- Watch your body language and eye contact; consider practicing with someone.
- Admit when you don’t know something; it’s okay — and expected — to not know everything.
